Looks like my trusty scanner is planning on giving up on life.

Lets just hope it'll to the same thing that my wacom did...

I was in love with my scanner... a lovely 4600 hp. I loved that you could frame what to scan **before** hitting "go". Did wonders to scanning and stiching paintings.

Looks like I'll have to shop for one really soon.

Browsing rapidly, I came upon the Scanner CanoScan LiDE 500F that seems rather nice. I'll have to investigate more.
